Once your granite composite sink is cleaned you can restore its shine using mineral oil.

Flush with hot water and scrub down the whole sink with dish soap as well. Apply a tablespoon of mineral oil to a soft cloth and buff using a circular motion. A thorough cleaning with mild detergent followed by a light coat of olive or mineral oil. To bring the shine and gloss this final step is going to be your savior.

Pour a few teaspoons of mineral oil or olive oil on a small section of a clean dry cloth or rag. Spray the solution on soap scum and or food particles. Wait 1 minute wipe away and enjoy the luster. It s merely because of regular usage for so many years.

You may also use another rag to wipe the sink. Get some mineral oil from your kitchen or department shop. Black or dark colored granite can develop a white haze over the surface from hard water mineral deposits. Using a dry microfiber towel or any soft towel or cloth dry the sink thoroughly.

Mix equal parts water and distilled white vinegar in a spray bottle. Use a clean soft cloth to scrub the stain. After cleaning it out dry it with a paper towel or dish rag. Some black granite composite sink looks dull even after deep cleaning.

Leave it about a minute to let it sit. Before doing anything the sink should be completely emptied as well as cleaned of any debris or food scraps. Use a vinegar solution. Buff the excess oil away by using the dry section of the cloth.
