Blue white wire pioneer head unit.
The instructions from the pioneer manual instruct me to attach the blue white wire the system remote control wire from the head unit to the control terminal of the amplifier.
The wire that still shows 12v is the accessory wire which is usually red in aftermarket wiring harnesses.
One thing to note most head unit wiring harnesses also have a solid blue wire.
Ok i am in the process of putting in a new pioneer head unit.
Pink and off white black and green grey blue and white red and yellow red and yellow grey and red light green and black tan tan and light blue light blue and pink red and black.

Although most aftermarket head units follow the above coloring scheme and it s possible to figure out what the oem wires in your car are all for without a wiring diagram installing an aftermarket head unit is much easier if you have a harness adapter.
